Thailand Honours Creativity at the CE Awards 2024

The Creative Economy Agency (CEA) hosted the Creative Excellence Awards 2024 to honour Thai creatives whose innovative work has made a meaningful impact on society, the environment, and the national economy.
Now in its second year, the CE Awards spotlight excellence in three categories: Creative City Awards, Creative Business Awards, and Creative Social Impact Awards. A total of 15 awards were presented across 18 projects, recognising creative professionals, entrepreneurs, and organisations that exemplify innovation and value creation.
The ceremony, held on 29 October 2024 at the Grand Ballroom of the Capella Hotel in Bangkok, was presided over by Mr Prasert Chantararuangthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, alongside Mr Chakrit Pichyangkul, Executive Director of the CEA.
Deputy Prime Minister Prasert highlighted the pivotal role of creativity in developing human resources and addressing global challenges, stating: “Creativity is the key to producing high-quality, valuable work that meets the needs of modern consumers. Events like the CE Awards promote Thai soft power and drive Thailand’s creative economy towards sustainable growth, improving quality of life and generating significant economic impact.”
CEA Executive Director Chakrit emphasised the awards’ role in fostering innovation and recognising creative achievements: “The CE Awards aim to honour outstanding Thai creatives, inspire future innovations, and showcase the potential of Thailand’s cultural and creative assets on a global stage. Creativity is a limitless power that fuels sustainable economic and societal growth.”
Projects spanned diverse fields, including community revitalisation, eco-friendly business practices, and socially inclusive designs, demonstrating the power of creativity to drive progress across all dimensions of life.
