Tom Holland on Christopher Nolan’s film: It was the phone call of a lifetime

Hollywood star Tom Holland will be headlining acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s next project. The actor confirmed the same during a recent interview and called the offer an opportunity of a lifetime.
Speaking to Good Morning America, the star said, “All I can say is that I’m incredibly excited. And obviously honoured, but that’s all I can say because, to be honest, that’s all I know.”
“When the opportunity came in, it was the phone call of a lifetime. It was reminiscent of getting the call about Spider-Man 10 years ago. It’s an amazing thing for me. I’m super proud, and I’m really, really excited,” Holland added.
Holland has evidently joined the project without knowing its complete details. The film will also star American actor Matt Damon. This will be Nolan’s next, after his blockbuster Oppenheimer.
Nolan will be writing and directing the new project, which is slated to hit cinemas on July 17, 2026.
The makers haven’t locked a title for the new project yet. The shooting for the film will tentatively start from next year.
Besides the Nolan film, Tom Holland also has Marvel and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man 4 in the pipeline.
